The residents of Blackwater rang in the new year with a dance party at the Black Rose tavern, followed by a fireworks display. (No slaves were harmed during the fireworks, much to the disappointment of Miss Alli.)
“This is so much fun!” moaned Layla, who was required to spend the night dancing with her arms cuffed behind her back. Miss Winnie’s music stream was perfect for the night as always. “Happy New Year!’ shouted Kara, who spent the night locked a glass display box, as usual.
After the dancing, party-goers were treated to a spectacular fireworks display hosted by Miss Alli.
Fireworks — of a different sort — were then experienced by a handful of residents who went back to the tavern and rang in the new year with another type of celebration.
